Congratulations to the 2013 J. Landon Short-Mini Grant Winners!
SBISD received 51 J. Landon Short Mini-Grant applications this year and awarded 35 grants as a result of generous support from the Spring Branch
Education Foundation (SBEF), First Community Credit Union (FCCU), Nexen and
funds from the Robert & Janice McNair Endowment for the Mini-Grants.
Thank you to our sponsors and judges for their support of this initiative,
and to all who applied for this support – we look forward to seeing these

A World of Opportunity - Additional $10,000 for STEM and Literacy Projects
Nexen Energy is gifting $10,000 for the J. Landon Short mini-grants program to fund STEM and Literacy projects in Spring Branch ISD. The mini-grant competition is going on now – we will extend the deadline to July 3rd. Mini-Grants are $500 for an individual teacher and $750 for a team of teachers.We want to have fabulous grant opportunities to maximize this new gift. We will be able to grant an additional 15-20 grants!
