In its second year as a +Works school, Frostwood moved its yearly parade date from April to October to highlight the importance of diversity at the start of the new school year. The nonprofit +Works, pronounced Positive Works, hopes to serve the greater community as a “catalyst for positive community change on bullying and other trending issues keeping adults and kids in our neighborhoods up at night.” The Frostwood International Parade is featured in photographs and positive commentary by this organization on its main website.
“Meet a school community that runs on positive energy by intentionally focusing on its unique strength – having a distinctively diverse student body,” states the beginning of the +Works article.
