Former Spring Branch Senior High School students will come together for their biannual reunion on Saturday, Oct. 21, at their repurposed high school, the Spring Branch Education Center, 9016 Westview.
Highlighting the gathering will be the grand opening of the SBSHS Museum, now located in the school’s former library. The museum will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Lifetime members of the alumni association will get a sneak peak the night before at a VIP event. There’s still time to become a lifetime member – go to www.springbranchbears.com for details.
Spring Branch ISD rebuilt most of the former high school, which now house the district’s Cornerstone Academy and Academy of Choice. The new classroom wings are contemporary in design but blend with the building’s mid-century auditorium, which was not part of the rebuild and sits as a reminder of SBISD’s past.
