Tuesday, March 5th Meadow Wood Elementary celebrated
Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Students were invited to take part in various activities centered around Dr. Seuss books and characters.
There were rhyming activities, laptops for
Seussville.com games, reading Dr. Seuss ebooks on iPads, watching Tim Tebow read
Green Eggs and Ham, and learning all about
the man behind the cat. Parents and community members were invited to visit each classroom as mystery readers. They read a story to each homeroom class. We had a fun day celebrating reading!
