Rodeo Art Auction Picks

Artwork by five Spring Branch ISD high school students will be auctioned to the highest bidders during the annual Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Auction this Sunday.

The Rodeo’s School Art Program, which began in 1964, now has more than 300,000 entries each year. Student artists submit original art projects based on Western culture, history or heritage. If a student’s work is selected for Rodeo auction, the young artist is guaranteed $1,000 or more in scholarships.
