Kindergartners Mason Keller and Reid Otermat paired up with classmates for square dancing and smile making. Every grade in Spring Branch’s Rummel Creek Elementary, from pre-k to fifth grade, performed to strum-humming songs in back-to-back, daylong celebrations.
Parents, grandparents and friends packed the school gymnasium to see students gussied up in their best country gear while performing the choreographed moves produced by the health fitness instruction team, which includes coaches Debbie Moore, Judy Konieczny, Rosie Tashakor and Margaret Triana.
