The Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum (AYAM) began the summer
with the successful return of the Tall Tales & Art Program.
Under the direction of SBISD art teacher Mary Traveras, a team of teachers led students in fun story time sessions followed art project activities. Students created everything from tropical fish and cave drawings, to colorful paper plate monsters.
AYAM hosted close to 300 children and their parents!
Looking for fun and creative ways to share time with your family, build community bonds and expand your learning? Become an AYAM member!
If you haven't already, please considering joining the museum. They need your support to continue to serve the students of SBISD and the surrounding communities.
They offer art programs to all the SBISD elementary schools and community programs for all ages. Spread the word about this amazing collection and all the activities throughout the year.
