Spring Branch ISD seeks public comment on new textbooks

Spring Branch ISD invites community residents to review textbooks that are being considered for adoption for the 2014-2015 academic year. Displays of these texts will be conducted from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily beginning on Monday, Jan. 27, through Friday, Jan. 31, in Room C1 at the district West Transition Campus, 2100 Shadowdale, Houston, Texas 77043.

New textbook materials available for review include the following: K-12 Science; K-8 Mathematics; Advanced Placement U.S. History; and Advanced Placement Physics. The public is invited to review these materials and to comment on them either in writing, by email, or by personal comment during February’s Board of Trustees Meeting.

Public comment options include:
  • Submit written comments inside Room C1 at the West Transition Campus. 
  • Send e-mail comments to lance.stallworth@springbranchisd.com.
  • Comment in person during the Board of Trustees regular monthly meeting.
