MAM Back to School Program

Thousands of local parents don't know how they will buy school clothes AND feed their families.  You Can Help!

The Big Picture:
  • In 2016, the MAM Back to School Program provided new school clothes for 6,189 disadvantaged children.
  • MAM has been providing uniforms for over 30 years.
100% of all donations help clothe children.

How the Program Works:

  1. MAM teams up with school counselors to identify the number of children in need of school clothes.
  2. All year long, MAM collects donations from businesses, churches, and individuals to cover costs for the clothing vouchers.
  3. MAM sends each school shopping vouchers for the families, to be used for school clothing at nearby stores. Just like a gift certificate!
  4. Families use the vouchers to buy new clothes. Kids have the same shopping experience as their classmates. In the child's eyes, Mom and Dad are the real heroes!
