Spring Branch ISD Names New Meadow Wood Elementary Principal

Spring Branch ISD is pleased to welcome Hailey Haynes as the new principal at Meadow Wood Elementary School.

Principal Haynes has 12 years of public education service. Most recently, she was an assistant principal at Kuehnle Elementary in Klein ISD where she worked for one year; she was an assistant principal for four years at Schultz Elementary School, also in Klein ISD. She has also taught at elementary schools in Klein ISD, Phoenix, Ariz., and in Louisiana.

She holds a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) in Hammond, La., and she later earned a master of education in curriculum and instruction, also from SLU. Mrs. Haynes also has a master of education in administration from Concordia University Texas, based in Austin, Texas.

“I am so fortunate to be joining the Meadow Wood Elementary community,” Principal Haynes said. “In just a matter of weeks, I have met some amazing people connected to Meadow Wood Elementary, learned about the rich traditions, culture and history here, and admired the strong ties that the school and its families share.”

“I have three general hopes and goals for the year ahead – establish and foster positive, professional and productive relationships; be an active listener to gain a full understanding of the mission, vision, values and traditions of Meadow Wood; and create and maintain a safe and positive school culture where students, staff and parents are eager to enter the school building each day,” she also said.

Principal Haynes replaces Pamela Redd, who has been appointed to a position at the secondary level.
