Spring Branch ISD Names New Valley Oaks Elementary Principal

Spring Branch ISD is pleased to announce Kimberly Reynolds as the new campus principal at Valley Oaks Elementary.

Principal Reynolds has 14 years in public education, all in Spring Branch ISD. She joined SBISD in 2003 as a teacher at Hunters Creek Elementary. She has served as an assistant principal at Rummel Creek Elementary since 2013.

She holds a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. She earned a master of education degree in administration and supervision from the University of Houston.

“Growing up in Spring Branch made me who I am today. The amazing teachers and administrators who poured so much love and learning into my life, gave me courage and confidence to pursue my dreams,” Principal Reynolds said. “There is something special about this district. For me, it is home.”

“My goal is to provide each of your children with the same opportunities I received through my great education, one that not only prepared me for college, but for life,” she also said.

Principal Reynolds replaces Gary Henry, who has joined SBISD’s Human Resources Dept.
