Innovative Resource Media Systems Launches New Library Management System

Spring Branch libraries (Innovative Resource Media Systems - IRMS) are being transformed into knowledge centers that drive information literacy, strengthen the library-to-classroom connection and expand their scope beyond “normal” operating hours. With the implementation of SBISD's new library management system, students and parents are now able to search for information from anywhere, at any time 24/7.

The new library management system, called Destiny by Follett, is already helping more than 20,000 school districts nationwide use technology to create the infrastructure necessary to establishing the school library as the core of information.  Spring Branch is the latest addition to this revolution in library resources management that's equipping our students and educators to meet the needs of 21st century learning.
