Please join us for this informative event that provides three unique programs in one great night!  Three $100 scholarships will be awarded. Door prizes, too!
 
Parent U – Funding Your Child’s College Education
Choose from a dozen workshops focused on funding your child’s college education. Gain understanding of the types of financial aid, understanding FAFSA, TASFA for undocumented students, the value of college, and selecting the right college at the right price. Sessions in English and Spanish! 
 
Registration: 5:45 – 6:00 pm  
Opening Program: 6:00 – 6:15 pm 
Workshops: 6:30 – 8:30 pm

FAFSA Training
Attend this 90 minute session to learn how to complete or help others complete the FAFSA form. FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the first step in the financial aid process.

First Generation: Every First Has A Story
First Generation is an award-winning feature-length documentary narrated by Golden Globe
nominee Blair Underwood,that tells the story of four high school students who set out to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope to their families and communities by pursuing a college education.
